If you've ever suppressed your dislike for someone, looked past faults, felt something besides the differences - to please your Lord,
If you've ever loved anyone, your mom, your dad, a sister, a brother, a friend,
be grateful. Just as I always thought,
In the end it benefits you.
Narrated Abu Huraira (رضى الله عنه): The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “Certainly, Allah will say on the Day of Resurrection: Where are those who love each other for the sake of My Glory? Today, I will shelter them in My shade; a Day when there is no shade but Mine.”
(Sahih Muslim, Book 032, Number 6225)
Reward of love? Shade of God.
